Commentaires généraux

Chacun doit faire attention à garder l'équipement dans de bonnes conditions de fonctionnement. N'utiliser jamais un appareil avant d'avoir eu les instructions nécessaires pour son utilisation. Si vous remarquez une anomalie de fonctionnement, il faut immédiatement en faire part au responsable de l'équipement.

Micropipettes

Les qualités et le résultat de la plupart des expériences que vous allez mener vont dépendre de votre habileté à mesurer précisément des volumes de solution en utilisant des micropipettes.
Les micropipettes doivent être vérifié en suivant les instructions du fabricant. La façon la plus simple et d'utiliser un cône calibré pour voir si la micropipette délivre le volume désiré. Il existe différents types de cônes, faite attention à utiliser ce qui sont adaptés avant micropipettes. Il ne faut jamais laisser tomber de micropipettes.

Mode direct

(for PIPETMAN , MICROMAN and DISTRIMAN )

The most common and the easiest way to use your PIPETMAN.

1 Hold the pipette in a nearly vertical position. Depress the plunger smoothly to the first stop position.
2 Immerse the end of the pipette tip in the liquid. Allow the plunger to move up smoothly to the rest position. Wait one second.

1 µl to 100 µl	2 - 3 mm
101 µl to 1000 µl	2 - 4 mm
1.001 ml to 10 ml	3 - 6 mm

3 Depress the plunger smoothly to the first stop position. Wait one second.
4 Depress the plunger to the second stop position.

Mode inverse

(For PIPETMAN only)

Recommended for pipetting dense or viscous liquids.

In reverse mode pipetting, the blow-out stroke is used during aspiration. This amount compensates for the liquid that remains as film inside the tip during dispensing.
1 Depress the plunger smoothly to the second stop position.
2 Immerse the end of the pipette tip in the liquid. Allow the plunger to move up smoothly to the rest position. Wait one second.

3 Depress the plunger smoothly to the first stop position. Wait one second.
The residual liquid and the used tip may be discarded to avoid cross-contamination.
